Transparency 2.0: MAGA Adopts Blockchain for Donation Tracking

To ensure our donors that every euro reaches its destination, MAGA is launching a pilot project of “Smart Contracts” on the Blockchain.

The Concept: When a donation is made for the “Kenya Wells” project, the funds are cryptographically locked. They are released to the local contractor only when the validation of work completion (geolocated photo and validation by a trusted third party) is recorded in the blockchain. This marks the end of financial opacity in humanitarian aid.
